According to an embodiment of the present invention, a tank structure to reduce sloshing comprises: a tank in which liquid cargo is stored; a floating material storage container to store floating liquid having higher viscosity and smaller specific gravity than the liquid cargo; and a supply line to supply the floating liquid into the tank from the floating material storage container. When the tank is partially filled with the liquid cargo, the floating liquid is supplied to the tank from the floating material storage container to float on the liquid cargo. The tank structure to reduce sloshing in accordance with the present invention allows the floating liquid having the higher viscosity and smaller specific gravity than the liquid cargo to float on a surface of the liquid cargo in the tank to make a free surface of the floating liquid relatively more viscous than the liquid cargo to reduce flowing motion, thereby reducing sloshing. |
