Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for reforming a cylindrical jelly roll electrode assembly. According to the present invention, the apparatus for reforming a cylindrical jelly roll electrode assembly for a reform process which winds a cylindrical jelly roll electrode assembly in a long sheet shape comprising an anode/separation film/cathode structure and then transforms a yin-yang pattern shape formed in a hollow portion of a middle portion of the electrode assembly into a cylindrical shape comprises: a first reform pin inserted into the hollow portion of the electrode assembly to firstly reform the electrode assembly to transform the yin-yang pattern shape formed in the hollow portion onto an inner wall of the hollow portion; and a second reform pin inserted into the hollow portion of the electrode assembly after first reforming by the first reform pin to secondly reform the electrode assembly. The maximum outer diameter of the second reform pin is larger than the maximum outer diameter of the first reform pin.
