The present invention relates to a livestock ear tag and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a livestock ear tag and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the method comprises the steps of: engaging an upper core and a lower core with each other by closing clamp molds such that a plurality of outlets for discharging blood, drawn when the ear of a livestock is perforated, to the outside and a plurality of locking protrusions on which penetrating pins are hooked are formed in one body with a clamp by movement and undercut of the upper core and the lower core formed within the clamp molds; forming the outlet of the clamp and the inner side shape of the locking protrusions by the operation of the upper core; forming the overall shape of the clamp while forming the outer side shape which becomes the thickness of the locking protrusions by the lower core; separating the upper core from the lower core by opening the clamp molds to automatically extract the clamp; and injection-molding the penetrating pins, to be inserted within the clamp, through penetrating pin molds and manufacturing the clamp and the penetrating pins in one body with a front and a rear display unit via an injection-molding process. Therefore, the number of consumed parts is largely reduced when compared with that in the conventional manufacturing method and productivity can be largely enhanced while burden of mold facility costs is reduced, and costs may be saved and quality may be enhanced. |
