The invention relates to a frame for a switchgear cabinet. The frame is comprised of a bottom part, a top part and of four vertical frame pieces. The bottom part and/or the top part are composed of two longitudinal struts and two depth struts that are formed from bevelings of a one-piece stamped/bent part, the bottom part and/or the top part having outwardly open locations in the four corner areas, into which the vertical frame pieces are inserted and connected to the bottom frame and top frame. The beveled sections forming the longitudinal and depth struts form, in the area of the locations and in two planes, centering surfaces, supporting surfaces and welding edges for the vertical frame pieces that are to be inserted and welded in. The particularly design of the bottom part and/or top part provided in the form of a stamped/bent part makes it possible to create a compact visible and/or concealable frame with few easy-to- manufacture parts. |
