The present invention relates to an assembling block and a method for constructing a highly durable and waterproof structure using the same, which is applied to banks and retaining wall structures for reducing damage from flooding, hurricane, and sea level rise. The assembling block of the present invention comprises: a body unit which comprises a first side surface, a second side surface, and a third side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface; a protruding unit formed on two or more side surfaces from among the first, second, and third side surfaces of the body unit; and, a groove unit formed on two or more side surfaces from among the first, second, and third side surfaces of the body unit. The protruding unit and the groove unit are placed on the same side surface to be close to each other. The protruding unit has a fastening surface facing the groove unit. On the fastening surface of the protruding unit, a double bump can be formed toward the inside of the side surface of the body unit. |
