The present invention relates to a method to maintain an antenna, capable of conveniently satisfying additional demands for communication lines, newly made after the completion of installation work of communication cables. Provided is the method to maintain an antenna, which includes: a placement design process of newly designing a communication line by using a method to minimize the number of communication lines across a road in a maintenance target area; an antenna column manufacturing step of manufacturing an antenna column, which includes multiple micro pipes in a factory according to a placement design, derived from the placement design process, a main line connected to a trunk line while progressing with work to manufacture a column by binding a coaxial cable and suspension lines through a binder, and main and branch line parts by distinguishing the branch line branched from the main line; a terminal panel installation process of installing a terminal panel box on or around an outer wall of a building of a communication consumer and connecting the communication line between the consumer and the terminal panel; an antenna column installation process of installing the main and branch line parts in a position according to the placement design process by separating the main and branch line parts when unwinding and placing the antenna column by a reel while suspending and fixing the suspension line on an electric pole by winding the antenna column on the reel and transferring the column to the maintenance area; a communication line connection process of connecting the trunk line and the terminal panel through the communication lines included in the antenna column; and a process of removing the communication lines messed up in the air. |
