A start key assembly for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a lock body fixed in a mounting hole formed on a cowl and provided with a light source unit disposed outside a lower portion thereof; a rotary start knob exposed to the outside of the mounting hole of the cowl on an upper end of the lock body, and rotationally mounted to rotate the start key assembly disposed in the lock body; a light guide mounted to move downwards from an upper portion of the lock body and surround a girth portion of the lock body to guide light emitted from the light source unit upwards; and a light ring which is inserted into an upper end of the light guide, surrounds the rotary start knob, is exposed to the outside, and converges the light guided by the light guide to project the light onto a circumference of the rotary start knob. The light guide is fixed in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the light guide is mounted on the lock body by a mounting member. A dispersion absorbing unit which determines a position of the mounting member relative to the light guide is disposed on the light guide. |
