The present invention relates to an integrated traffic light and a control method thereof which integrate signal display devices into one signal display device, and separate the one signal display device into one or more when needed to drive the separated signal display devices. The integrated traffic light according to the present invention comprises: a signal detection and control unit to output one or more display control signals to collectively drive a plurality of color light emitting bodies, or separate the color light emitting bodies into one or more groups to drive the groups according to a traffic light control signal received from a traffic light controller; and an integrated display unit wherein the color light emitting bodies capable of selectively displaying a traffic light color are mounted thereon to form one signal display area, and variably driven by the one or more display control signals outputted from the signal detection and control unit to flexibly display one or more traffic guide signals among signals for driving and turning simultaneously, driving, turning, parking, and warning and a dynamic flow of the signals within the one signal display area. Each signal identifiability of a driver can be improved by effectively displaying the traffic guide signals without increasing an overall size or volume and power consumption of the traffic light. |
