The present invention relates to a game management system and method. The game management system comprises: a storage part which records and stores game images played by a user on a terminal; a first analyzing part which extracts a certain section of a first game image where the variation of game situation information generated while playing a game exceeds a set standard; and a second analyzing part which analyzes meta data expressing the contents of the game from the game image including the first game image. Therefore, the present invention increases the game participation of users by arousing the competitive spirit of the users having a similar game level.
