The present invention relates to a mast of a forklift installed on the front surface of the forklift to load freight and rise and fall. The mast (100) of the present invention comprises: a mast frame (110) installed on the front surface of a main frame (10) of the forklift; a carriage (120) mounted on the front surface of the mast frame (110) to rise and fall; a backrest (150) combined with the front surface of the carriage (120) to rise and fall together with the carriage (120); a pair of bottom forks (130) combined with the bottom of the backrest (150), on whose top surface freight is settled; a cylinder (142) combined with the backrest (150) to expand and contract vertically; a guide frame (140) combined with the cylinder (142) to be elevated and lowered by the expansion and the contraction of the cylinder; and, a pair of top forks (141) combined with the guide frame (140) to press the freight settled on the bottom fork (130) from above to prevent the freight from breaking away to the outside. The present invention can safely support a freight vertically to be able to load the freight at a high position, to make the work efficient, and to reduce accidents such as damage to a product due to a falling of the freight when the freight is loaded at a high position. |
