The present invention relates to a rechargeable battery. The purpose of the present invention is to fix and insulate a plurality of electrode assemblies comprising flexible electrode tabs inside of a case with a first support and a second support, and to prevent deformation of the plurality of electrode assemblies by absorbing external shocks of the rechargeable battery. To that end, the present invention includes: an electrode assembly comprising a first and a second electrode tab upwardly protruding; a first support surrounding the electrode assembly; a case accommodating the electrode and the first support, and having an upper opening; and a cap assembly sealing the upper opening of the case. The first support includes: a body part, which is in contact with a long side surface of the electrode assembly, having a plate shape; and a side part, which is bent from the body part, surrounding the side surface of the electrode assembly and having elasticity. |
