<p>The device has a thermocouple detector (2) including a cable with an end (5') connected to an electronic computer (K) comprising a unit for measuring a voltage (8) between two metal conductors (6, 6'). An insulator (3) has a function to isolate the conductors from each other in a zone, in which a temperature of the insulator is lower than a threshold. The insulator has another function of conduction between the conductors in a zone in which the temperature is higher than the threshold for allowing creation of a thermocouple in a point of the zone by varying the measured voltage. The thermocouple is a K-type thermocouple. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting increase of a temperature of a cable of a detector.</p> |
