PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shuttlecock that can restrain the stacking sequence of feathers from changing during the use of the shuttlecock without using an inner string.SOLUTION: A shuttlecock comprises a hemispheric base body and a plurality of artificial feathers 3 connected to the base body. The artificial feathers 3 each include a feather part 5 and a shaft connected to the feather part 5. Surfaces of the feather part 5 include a first principal plane (principal surface 5A) facing the inside of the shuttlecock and a second principal plane (principal surface 5B) located on the opposite side of the first principal plane (principal surface 5A) and facing the outside of the shuttlecock 1, and a lubricating layer 9 is exposed in at least a portion of the surfaces. |
