PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder capable of improving reliability of connection of an annular fixing member and an annular plastic magnet, even if attached to an outer ring.SOLUTION: An axial magnetic encoder 1 includes a connection part C having a going around shape going around to a rear surface B from a surface A facing a sensor, of an inward flange part 2B of an annular fixing member 2. At an inner diameter side part of the inward flange part 2B, a separated inner peripheral part D spaced apart from a rotor 10 is formed, with an outer diameter side part of the rear surface of the inward flange part 2B being in contact with the rotor 10. An inner peripheral part of an annular plastic magnet 3 is made go around to a rear surface of the separated inner peripheral part D. The connection part C of the annular plastic magnet 3, having the going around shape going around to the rear surface of the separated inner peripheral part D does not get closer to the rotor 10 than the outer diameter side part of the rear surface B of the inward flange part 2B. |
