PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit with improved versatility, and to provide a lighting device using the light source unit.SOLUTION: A light source unit 2 includes: an LED chip 210; a lens 22 which is disposed at the light emitting surface side of the LED chip 210; an attachment member 23 to which the LED chip 210 and the lens 22 are attached; and a heat radiation member 24 which radiates heat generated by the LED chip 210. The heat radiation member 24 includes: a bottom wall part 241; and side wall parts 242, 243 protruding from end parts of the bottom wall part 241 in a direction perpendicular to the bottom wall part 241, each of the side wall parts 242, 243 including an opening part provided in at least a part thereof. The LED chip 210, the lens 22, and the attachment member 23 are disposed in a space enclosed by the bottom wall part 241 and the side wall parts 242, 243. |
