PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light guide plate which improves luminous intensity of an entire surface of a surface light source device as much as possible even if a light reflection part having a dot form is formed by using an ink jet recording device, and to provide the surface light source device including the light guide plate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a light guide plate 1 used in an edge light type surface light source device 100 includes: a first step S1 where discharge processing is performed to a transparent resin sheet 11 by using a discharge device to reform a surface of the transparent resin sheet 11; a second step S2 where static electricity on the transparent resin sheet 11 is eliminated; a third step S3 where an ultraviolet curing ink is applied from a recording head 23 by using a scanning type ink jet recording device A to form a light reflection part 12 having a dot form on the transparent resin sheet 11; and a fourth step S4 where ultraviolet light is radiated to the light reflection part 12 to cure the light reflection part 12. |
