PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polypropylene resin which is suppressed very well in gel formation even when applied with a high melt tension and provides a molding having an excellent appearance and its production method.SOLUTION: A modified polypropylene resin which has a gel fraction of smaller than 0.5%, a melt flow rate of 0.1 g/10 min or higher and lower than 10 g/10 min, a loss tangent tanδ, namely, the ratio of the storage elastic modulus and the loss elastic modulus at the angular frequency of 1 rad/s in measurement of the kinematic viscoelasticity at 200°C, of 2.0 or lower and a melt tension at 200°C of 2.0 cN or higher is obtained by melt-kneading a polypropylene resin with a radical polymerization initiator and a conjugated diene compound in an extruder having a specified screw configuration. |
