PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of estimating the measurement value of an optical sensor which does not depend on the change of the light emission state of a light-emitting part corresponding to input image data, without causing the appearance change of a display image, even during the execution of local dimming control.SOLUTION: An image display device includes light-emitting means, display means for modulating light emitted from the light-emitting means, to display an image on a screen, control means for controlling the light emission of the light-emitting means on the basis of the input image data, acquisition means for acquiring the measurement value of the light emitted from the screen, and first correction means for correcting the present measurement value acquired by the acquisition means on the basis of a reference state which is the reference light emission state of the light-emitting means and the present light emission state of the light-emitting means. |
