<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform maintenance of a carrier vehicle while suppressing a decrease in conveyance efficiency of an automated warehouse. <P>SOLUTION: The automated warehouse, which includes carrier rails 101 disposed in a plurality of tiers and the plurality of carrier vehicles 102 running on the carrier rails 101, includes a maintenance platform 103 on which the carrier vehicle 102 is to be held, and a movable carriage 104 which transfers the carrier vehicle 102 between the carrier rails 101 and the maintenance platform 103. The movable carriage 104 comprises holding rails 141 which are connected to ends of the carrier rails 101 and which can transfer the carrier vehicle 102 in a running condition, bases 142 which support the holding rails 141 in an ascendable/descendable manner, and movement means 143 for making the bases 142 move in a direction crossing the carrier rails 101. The maintenance platform 103 comprises maintenance rails 131 which are connected to ends of the holding rails 141 and which can transfer the carrier vehicle 102 in the running condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
