Disclosed is a method performed by a system including an operation device and an information storing apparatus. The method includes determining, by a processor, based on information input to the operation device from the outside of the operation device in response to an operation performed on the operation device, an electronic device among a plurality of electronic devices to input electronic data to the information storing apparatus. The information input from the outside of the operation device includes at least identification information for determining the electronic device. The information input from the outside of the operation device is obtained from the electronic device to be determined. The method also includes sending, by a processor, to the determined electronic device, a request to cause the determined electronic device to input the electronic data to the information storing apparatus. The request includes the identification information and a setting for the electronic device to generate the electronic data, the setting being input from a screen page of the operation device. The method further includes storing, by a processor, in the information storing apparatus, the electronic data sent by the electronic device in response to the sent request,the electronic data having been generated based on the setting included in the sent request. A system and apparatus for performing the method are also disclosed. |
