PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiograph for enabling a subject to easily understand information displayed in a display unit.SOLUTION: An electrocardiograph 1 provided with at least a pair of a positive electrode 17 and a negative electrode 21 to measure electrocardiographic waves of a subject touching one of the pair of a positive electrode 17 and a negative electrode 21 with the right hand and the other with the left hand includes an LCD module 11 for displaying information, an acceleration sensor 13 for acquiring the direction of the electrocardiograph, a contact state specification unit 15 for specifying a right hand contact electrode brought into contact with the right hand of the subject and a left hand contact electrode brought into contact with the left hand of the subject in the pair of a positive electrode 17 and a negative electrode 21, and a CPU 3 for determining a display direction of the information in the LCD module 11 by using an acquisition result of the acceleration sensor 13 and a specification result of the contact state specification unit. |
