<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of adequately draining hot water in a washing space even when a drainage water lifting height varies, and capable of suppressing noise from occurring during washing water draining operation. <P>SOLUTION: A control means H which performs washing process for washing an object to be washed in the washing space Q, rinsing process for rinsing the object, and drying process for drying the object is constituted to continue a state in which a draining pump 6 is operated with a set draining ability at the washing water draining operation after a hot water draining water level Y1a is detected by a water level detection means J until the set time for draining the washing water passes. The transit time from the washing water level Y2 until detection of the hot water draining water level Y1a is measured by the water level detection means J.
