Abstract The present invention provides a children's play apparatus and a children's slide configured for sliding from an upper level of a play apparatus to a lower level, the slide including: a staging platform configured for connection to an upper level of a play apparatus and a slide portion extending from the staging platform to a lower level; the staging platform including an open sided trough comprising three sides that are closed and a fourth side that opens to the slide portion; the staging platform being configured for connection to the play apparatus which can be flexibly configured for providing access to the staging platform in up to three directions extending inwardly towards the three closed sides of the trough. 115 r210 110 115 1 5 1 1 -45 115 Fig 110 11Fig 80
