MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DUST CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently enhance mechanical strength without reducing magnetic properties concerning a dust core formed by using a powder for a magnetic core formed by coating a soft magnetic metal powder with a swelling layered clay mineral.SOLUTION: The powder magnetic core is formed by using a powder for a magnetic core formed by coating a surface of a soft magnetic metal powder with an insulation coat composed of a swelling layered clay mineral in which at least parts of positive ions are substituted by iron ions, and heating a green compact composed of a raw material powder containing the powder for a magnetic core. At least parts of the iron ions are oxidized.
