PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC circuit breaker that does not limit connection between the short-circuit source side and the load side.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker comprises: a base 11; a fixed contactor 27 provided on this base 11 and having a fixed contact 21; a movable contactor 23 having a movable contact 22 that comes into contact with the fixed contact 21 and separates from it; a circuit interrupter 50 including a plurality of grid plates 51 in which a U-shaped notch 51a is formed on the movable contactor 23 side, side leg parts 51b are formed on both sides of the notch 51a, and the notch 51a surrounds both the contacts 21, 22 and the fixed contactor 27; and a pair of permanent magnets 54a provided on both sides of the fixed contact 21 and in which the same magnetic poles are located opposite to each other. |
