PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal that is able to reduce contact resistance without increasing the size of the terminal or without significantly complicating it.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a terminal, for forming conductive metal plate layers 5, 12 on the surface of parent materials 3a, 11a, comprises: a plate step in which a plate layer is formed on the external faces of the long base materials 3a, 11a; a plate-layer damage step in which, after the plate step, the parent materials 3a, 11a with the plate layers 5, 12 formed thereon are mechanically damaged; and a press processing step in which, after the plate-layer damage step, the parent materials 3a, 11a are cut and bent to form a terminal. |
