<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator that can stably support an apparatus or a device even when an installation surface is inclined or somewhat undulates and that can suppress transmission of vibration generated by the supported apparatus or device to the installation surface to the most, and that is interposed between the apparatus or device and the installation surface. <P>SOLUTION: An insulator 1 is formed by forming a loading surface 1a of a spherical surface whose radius is larger than that of a discoid main body 1b on the lower side face of the main body 1b. The insulator 1 is formed in an appropriate shape so that a holding bracket 2 is provided for installation on the apparatus or device to be an object of suppressing vibration on the upper side face of the main body 1b. When the insulators 1 are attached on at least three points and mounted on an installation surface 6, each loading surface 1a of the insulator 1 comes into point-contact with the installation surface 6, stably supports the apparatus or device, and diffuses vibration to suppress transmission to the installation surface 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
