Disclosed are a braking device for an oil field pumping unit and an intelligent control system thereof. The braking device is mounted on a speed reducer (20), an input shaft (21) of the speed reducer is connected to a driving belt pulley, and the radial surface of a hub (1) of the driving belt pulley is used as a braking disc; electromagnetic brakes (4) are disposed on the radial surface relative to the hub (1); when power is cut off, the electromagnetic brakes (4) are tightly pressed against the radial surface of the hub (1) so as to generate friction to prevent the speed reducer (20) from operation; when power is supplied, the electromagnetic brakes (4) are attracted by electromagnetism, so that a gap is formed between each electromagnetic brake (4) and the radial surface of the hub (1) so as to release braking of the speed reducer (20). By means of the non-manually controlled braking device for the pumping unit and the intelligent control system, the problems of automatic control and operation safety and reliability of the pumping unit are solved. |
