PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket connector configured to facilitate a reduction in size.SOLUTION: A socket connector comprises a socket housing 11 and a socket contact 21. The socket housing 11 has a wire arrangement groove 12 in which the socket contact 21 is arranged; a contact accommodating part 14 provided nearer to an end part in a fourth direction D4 than to the wire arrangement groove 12 and communicating with the wire arrangement groove 12; and a housing lance 14e provided at the contact accommodating part 14. The socket contact 21 has a body part 22, a contact part 24 accommodated in the contact accommodating part 14, and a fitting part 25 provided at an end part of the body part 22 in the fourth direction D4, located opposite to the contact part 24 in a first direction D1 or second direction D2, and fitting to the housing lance 14e. |
