PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control unit capable of suppressing the occurrence of a fluctuation in output torque at a time of closing a drain valve.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a drain device that includes a drain passage connected to a downstream side of a compressor of a turbocharger in an intake passage and discharging a liquid accumulated in the intake passage to outside of the intake passage and a drain valve opening or closing the drain passage. If accelerator operation is cancelled (step S110: YES), a control unit opens the drain valve and increases an opening of a wastegate valve (step S120). The control unit then closes the drain valve and further increases the opening of the wastegate valve (step S140). As a result, the opening of the wastegate valve while the drain valve is opened is set lower than the opening thereof during idling operation. |
