<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method capable of reducing and decomposing a bromate ion without depositing a platinum group element in a solution and recovering the platinum group element by solvent extraction and ion exchange from the solution obtained after the treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The treating method for a bromic acid aqueous solution suppresses precipitation of the platinum group element and generation of bromine gas, and decomposes the bromate ion by adding the bromic acid aqueous solution containing the platinum group element into a reducing aqueous acid solution. For example, the treating method for the bromic acid aqueous solution uses an aqueous acid solution of hydroxylamine salt, hydrazine, or reduction copper as the reducing aqueous acid solution in such a manner that the bromic acid aqueous solution is added until the pH becomes 4 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
