<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device capable of allowing a control device abnormal in cylinder determination to execute cylinder determination by suppressing increase of communication load and processing load of a specific control device.SOLUTION: A first control device acquires an abnormal time data composed of a latest engine speed calculated by a first control device and a latest crank position calculated by cylinder determination by the first control device (S442), in a case of abnormal cylinder determination of a second control device (S440:Yes), and determines whether a transmission timing of the abnormal time data or not (S444). The abnormal time data is transmitted at a timing of every 30°CA, for example, 0°CA, 30°CA and 60°CA. In the abnormal time data transmission timing (S444:Yes), the first control device transmits the abnormal time data to the second control device (S446). The second control device can execute cylinder determination on the basis of the abnormal time data received from the first control device, even when it is abnormal in cylinder determination.</p> |
