PACKAGE WITH A MULTI-PIECE HANDLE

A package has a package body and a handle for carrying the package. The package body has at least one face and a reclosable opening on the at least one face. The handle is positioned over the reclosable opening and has a first strap, a second strap, and a connection portion. The first strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the first strap is attached to a face of the package body. The second strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the second strap is attached to a face of the package body and is disposed opposite to the first end of the first strap. The connection portion is located on the second end of the second strap and is detachably engaged to the second end of the first strap.

1. A package comprising:
(a) a package body having at least one face and a reclosable opening on the at least one face; and (b) a handle, for carrying the package, being positioned over the reclosable opening, the handle having:
(i) a first strap including a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to a face of the package body;(ii) a second strap including a first end and a second end, the first end being attached to a face of the package body, the first end of the second strap being disposed opposite to the first end of the first strap; and(iii) a connection portion on the second end of the second strap, the connection portion being detachably engaged to the second end of the first strap.
