The present invention relates to an electric-powered fishing reel. According to the present invention, by enabling a user to easily use an acceleration lever by a hand not holding a fishing rod for controlling the velocity at which a fishing line is wound to a spool, a user convenience can be greatly improved, and accidents in fishing can be prevented. The electric-powered fishing reel includes: a reel main body mounted onto a fishing rod; a spool which is installed on an inside portion between both side plates of the reel main body, while being able to rotate back and forth in the same position to wind and unwind a fishing line; a drive motor installed inside the reel main body to deliver the spool with power to rotate; a potentiometer installed on one side in the reel main body to adjust the power output from the drive motor according to a variable resistance value; and an acceleration lever coupled to the potentiometer to adjust the variable resistance value of the potentiometer while changing angles back and forth by the maneuver of a user. The user can easily control the acceleration lever by an empty hand which is not used for holding the fishing rod, since the acceleration lever is capable of rotating back and forth while being installed on top of the reel main body, in a transverse direction orthogonal to the mounting direction of the fishing reel. |
