PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material that can restrict vertical movement of a packaged article in a more compact packaged state without being bound by a binding band.SOLUTION: A packaging material 1A packages a packaged article P having a protruding portion t formed on a side surface s1 thereof. The packaging material comprises a bottom portion packaging member 2 having a recessed storage portion 21 for storing a bottom portion b of the packaged article P formed therein, and a first holding member 3 and second holding members 4A, 4B and 4C that hold the packaged article P at a position opposing to a side face of the packaged article P. In the first holding member 3 is formed a restricting portion 32 that restricts upward movement of the packaged article P by covering a part of an upper portion of the protruding portion t when fitting the first holding member 3 to the bottom portion packaging member 2 in a state where the packaged article P is stored in the recessed storage portion 21 of the bottom portion packaging member 2. |
