1. A terminal device for sharing a display of a target content with another terminal device, the terminal device comprising:
a role determining unit configured to determine a role of an own-device that is the terminal device itself, from between a first role or a second role, the first role being able to apply an operation performed with respect to the target content included in the own-device to the target content included in the other terminal device, and the second role being able to perform at least a part of the operation that the first role is able to perform and apply to the other terminal device; a processing unit configured to receive, from a person performing operations, at least a part of the operation that the first role is able to perform, and apply the received operation to the target content included in the other terminal device, in a case where the determined role of the own-device is the second role; and a target content display unit configured to display the target content included in the own-device upon applying, to the target content included in the own-device, the operation performed at the terminal device having the first role, based on information sent from the terminal device having the first role, when the determined role of the own-device is not the first role, wherein the role determining unit determines whether the role of the own-device is the second role, based on device identification information for identifying a machine of the own-device and identification information of the second role. |
