Apparatus for inhalation tests with rodents comprises a catheter which is placed in the larynx of the experimental animal to exclude nasal respiration, the catheter having a bit 3 and being connected to a three-way valve device 4 adapted to direct exhaled gas alone a different path from that along which the inhaled gas is drawn. The three-way valve device has a part 5 in which a cigarette is mounted, a part 6 which may be connected to a spirometer, and two non-return valves 7, 8 mounted therebetween. Part 2 of the apparatus is placed in the larynx. |
