PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance seizure resistance while maintaining abrasion resistance of a resin composition used for a sliding member.SOLUTION: A resin composition for sliding containing a protection reinforcement agent consisting of a resin binder, a solid lubricant and an aggregate of harder particles than the resin binder is proposed. An blended amount of the particles is 1 vol.% to 20 vol.% in whole resin composition for sliding and an average particle diameter of 10 nm to 100 nm. The aggregate has A-1&sgr; of 60 nm or more and A+1&sgr; of 400 nm or less where A is an average particle diameter and &sgr; is standard deviation thereof and further 10% or more of the aggregate adhere to the solid lubricant or exist near to the same.
