PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for cleaning a drain pipe in which, when removing the earth and sand attached and deposited on a pipe inner wall, even if the drain pipe is formed of materials easily damaged, it can be reduced from being damaged, and furthermore, the fluidity of the earth and sand attached and deposited on the inner wall of the drain pipe is increased, and thereby the earth and sand can efficiently be removed.SOLUTION: In the tip side of a hollow shaft 20 with a connection part 51 for connecting a high-pressure water hose 64 in one end of a root side, excavating water jet holes 23 are circumferentially provided to multiple places of a circumferential wall at suitable intervals. Multiple blade plates 45 in a water wheel 43 are arranged in an outer circumferential spatial position of an external wall surface 20a of the hollow shaft 20. Further, a rotating brush 36 is disposed in an outer circumferential position of the shaft 20. The rotating brush 36 is connected to the water wheel 43, and the external dimension of the rotating brush 36 is made larger than the external dimension of the water wheel 43. |
