PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting the power of an uplink MIMO transmission.SOLUTION: A base station adjusts a modulation and coding scheme for uplink channel power control in advanced telecommunication networks, and transmits an indication of a power adjustment mode for an uplink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission. UE receives the indication of the power adjustment mode, and the power of the uplink MIMO transmission is adjusted according to the received power adjustment mode.
