PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for using a service extended at an arbitrary timing related to each processing step of a workflow provided by a definition file in the order described in each processing step without changing the definition file.SOLUTION: When a process definition management module 320 of an MFP 102 performs a processing step defined in a process definition file 510, a service management module 321 determines whether the processing step is related to the service registered in the service management module 321 and displays a screen for using the service determined to have been related to the processing step in a browser 318. The browser 318 requests the service to perform processing according to a user instruction. The service management module 321 receives the processing results of the service via the browser 318. The process definition management module 320 manages the received processing results as the processing results of the processing step.
