PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of more surely providing an image desired by a user even when performing automatic imaging among a number of unspecified persons, and an image recording method.SOLUTION: In an image recording device 1, an identifier receiving section 11 receives a user ID, a face image receiving section 12 receives a face image corresponding to the user ID and on the basis of a result of comparing features of a face included in an image captured by an imaging section 14 with features of the face image, a determination section 15 determines whether an image is subjected to image recording. An image recording section 16 records an image that is determined as the image subjected to image recording by the determination section 15. |
