摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a BiTe based nano composite thermoelectric material of N type, which enables the increase in Seebeck coefficient; and a method for manufacturing such a BiTe based nano composite thermoelectric material.SOLUTION: A nano composite thermoelectric material comprises: a matrix phase of Bi(Te,Se); and Ag-doped Te which are dispersed in the matrix phase. A method for manufacturing a BiTe-based nano composite thermoelectric material comprises the step of performing a hydrothermal treatment on Bi, Te, Se and Agions in ethanol slurry with Bi, Se and Agions included therein together with ions of Te of which the quantity is larger than a solid solubility limit, thereby reducing, with ethanol, Agions in a matrix material of Bi, Te and Se, and doping the resultant Ag to the excessive Te to disperse Ag-doped Te in the Bi(Te,Se)matrix phase.
