<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ointment composition for oral cavities and an oral cavity biofilm bactericide both having superior persistent oral biofilm bactericidal effect. <P>SOLUTION: The ointment composition for oral cavities includes: (A) a cationic antimicrobial agent; (B) azulene; (C) a lower monohydric alcohol; and (D) a water-soluble vinyl polymer.
