A mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal comprises a display unit; a sensing unit being formed on one side of the mobile terminal and sensing other terminals located within a predetermined distance from the mobile terminal; a wireless communication unit for transmitting and receiving information to and from a terminal sensed by the sensing unit; and a controller transmitting screen information about a displayed image to other terminals through the wireless communication unit when the sensing unit senses other terminals so that other images related to an image displayed on the display unit can be displayed on the other terminals.

a display; a sensor configured to detect one or more external terminals located within a threshold distance from the mobile terminal; a wireless communication unit; and a controller configured to:
cause the display to display a first screen; andcause the wireless communication unit to transmit first information to a first external terminal when the first external terminal is detected by the sensor; wherein the transmitted first information relates to a second screen associated with the first screen for displaying the second screen on the first external terminal.
