<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of effectively detecting a scene while reducing operation loads by scene detection. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes means for automatically detecting at least two scenes from a plurality of scenes while photographing moving images, and means (115) for selecting a mode of adaptively controlling one or more image processing functions including at least one of a color, white balance and brightness corresponding to the detected scenes and a mode of fixing them. Detected scenes include a first scene for adaptively controlling at least the color and the white balance or the color and the brightness and a second scene used for adaptively controlling at least the color. Detection processing of the first scene is executed in a prescribed cycle in the case that the mode of fixing the color is selected, and detection processing of the first and second scenes is executed in a cycle longer than that when the mode of fixing the color is selected in the case that the mode of adaptively controlling the color is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
