摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thrust force which is received by a ball bearing for supporting a pinion shaft of a rack and pinion type steering device, prevent a ball of the ball bearing from getting on a groove shoulder, and suppress wobble of the ball bearing in an axial direction, thereby reducing gear rattle sound of the pinion and rack tooth, for suppressing oscillation and noise of the device.SOLUTION: An inner race locus 15 of a needle roller bearing 10 for supporting a pinion shaft, is inclined with respect to a rotation central axis line of the pinion shaft 101, and a thrust force Z for acting on the pinion shaft 101 is generated. The thrust force Z is set to become force in a reverse direction of a thrust force S generated by reaction force of the rack tooth, and the respective thrust forces are cancelled each other.
