摘要 An imaging apparatus includes an imaging optical system, an imaging element, and an optical fiber bundle composed of a plurality of optical fibers configured to guide light from the imaging optical system to the imaging element. Each of the optical fibers includes a core portion and a clad portion around the core portion. A diameter of the core portion on a light emit face of the optical fibers is larger than a diameter of the core portion on a light incident face. An optical fiber not parallel to an optical axis of the imaging optical system satisfies the following expression:;0≦αi<ωi where αi represents an inclination angle of the optical fiber with respect to the optical axis on the light incident face, and ωi represents an angle of a principal ray incident on the optical fiber from the imaging optical system with respect to the optical axis.
