<p>The invention relates to a retainer pin for engaging the edge of a printed circuit board (10), having at one end a retaining portion (26) which more particularly comprises a slot (48) and/or a recess and is designed to cooperate with the printed circuit board; having at the other end a securing portion (30) for preferably releasably fixing the retainer pin to a support means (18); and having a central portion (24) for feeding through and/or allowing resilient excursion from a neutral position in alignment with a longitudinal axis (34) of the retainer pin; wherein the elongate central portion is integrally formed from a metallic material and/or has a bending portion (36) in the form of a recess and/or includes a non-metallic material, more particularly a plastics material, with means for limiting a maximum excursion.</p> |
