PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projection device in which adjustment work after the assembly of the projection device is reduced and illumination distributions in screens of respective colors are matched.SOLUTION: A projection device 10 includes an excitation light irradiation device 70 which is an excitation light source and light source control means 41 which controls the excitation light source, so as to emit a light beam flux from the excitation light source at a predetermined timing. Further, the fluorescent plate 101 of a fluorescent plate device 100 includes a fluorescent light emission area 103 on which a phosphor layer irradiated with light emitted from the excitation light irradiation device 70 as excitation light is provided and a diffuse transmission area 104 which diffuses and transmits the light emitted from the excitation light source and where a plurality of diffusion plates whose diffusion angles are different are adjacently formed. |
